Stereophonics @ KuFa

Stereophonics @ KuFa 2008-03-02On March 1 I went to the Stereophonics concert at the cosy Kulturfabrik. Even though I don’t know many of their songs, I really had a good time. My favourite moment was near the end of the concert when Kelly Jones, the lead singer of the band, performed “Maybe Tomorrow” solo. For a few seconds the entire crowd went silent and then rushed back into rapturous applause… fabulous!

The Datsuns @ Atelier

The DatsunsOn Sunday I went to a concert of The Datsuns, a rock band from New Zealand. First row plus loud music minus earplugs equals a high pitched ringing noise the day after. But it was totally worth it: The concert was plain awesome, even though unfortunately the concert hall was half empty.

Revolverheld Unplugged - Private Concert

Revolverheld-TicketI was lucky enough to win tickets for a private concert of the german band Revolverheld. The concert which took place on Wednesday was sponsored by RTL Radio Luxembourg. Photos are available here.

Revolverheld Private ConcertIt was a really cool evening given that there were only around 70 guests. This, in addition with the fact that they were playing unplugged lead to a very personal and memorable ambience.

Air @ Abbaye de Neumünster

Air @ Abbaye de Neumünster Maybe a little late to write this, but hey, better late than never: Two weeks ago (27th of July to be specific) I was at an Air concert at the Abbey Neumünster in Luxembourg City. The concert was great, but unfortunately a little short-winded. I really love their music, which could be classified somewhere inbetween electronica and psychedelic rock. Especially their previous album Talkie Walkie is quite catchy. I hope they’ll be back soon :-)
