The EPaperDownloader is an application that makes it easy to download e-papers as PDF documents for easier reading. Currently, there is only a connector for wort.lu. Others might or might not follow.
This is a first BETA release of the EPaperDownloader for wort.lu. You need to have a valid account for the e-paper on wort.lu in order to use the application.
NOTE: I am not affiliated with wort.lu. This is an inofficial application written by me. I am not responsible for any problems that will might occur.
Usage
1. Go to java.com and download Java 6
2. Run the application
- Windows: Just run the executable file
- Linux: run “java -jar EPaperDownloader.exe”
3. Press the [Options...] button and enter your username and password
4. Now press [Connect], followed by [Download]
Optionally, you can select which issue you want to download.
How does it work?
The application works somewhat like an automated web browser. It loads and parses the e-paper web site without accessing a separate interface. Thus, it does not have any additional features as compared to the classic web interface, but it is a lot easier and faster to use than the web interface.
