Privacy Policy
This is a personal site with no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. It collects as little data as possible — here is what that means.
Who is responsible
The person responsible for this site (the “data controller”) is Michel Weimerskirch. You can reach me by email at michel@weimerskirch.net.
What this site collects
- No cookies, no tracking. The site sets no cookies at all, and there are no analytics, advertising or social-media trackers of any kind.
- Server logs. Like most websites, the hosting server keeps standard technical logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) to operate and secure the site. They are not used to profile you and are not shared with third parties.
If you contact me
If you email me, I use your message and address only to read and reply to it. I will not add you to any mailing list or share your details.
Links to other sites
Links to services such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and GitHub take you off this site, where the destination’s own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you can access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and request data portability. Email michel@weimerskirch.net to exercise any of these. If you believe your data is handled unlawfully, you may also lodge a complaint with Luxembourg’s data protection authority, the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD).
